With a Master of Public Health in Health Education and Promotion from the University of South Florida, she has developed expertise in disease prevention, health advocacy, and community engagement. Her hands-on experience as a disease investigator at the University of Florida has provided her with valuable insight into public health challenges and the importance of preventative measures. Lindsey’s passion for health education led her to obtain a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Certified in Public Health (CPH) credentials, reinforcing her expertise in public health strategy and intervention.
Lindsey has built strong ties with the Hillsborough County community through her work as a substitute teacher and lifeguard, witnessing firsthand the impact of both effective and lacking public health initiatives.
