The numbers are in and CBA enjoyed one of the best attended UNITE conventions in recent years! Edward Roush, Chairman of the Roush Foundation and keynote speaker at UNITE, says there were a number of things that drove stronger attendance and sales numbers at UNITE 2018, including the large number of exhibitors, location, reimbursement incentive, training and marketing tools.

Ellie Dunn of Dunn and Dunn Advertising says CBA has already been receiving requests from exhibitors for larger booth space at UNITE 2019, due to strong exhibitor sales and a growing attitude of optimism in their industry.

Dunn told CBA News,”it’s been a month and we’re still hearing amazing things about what was shared by Edward Roush during the ‘State of Faith’ speech Monday night during the convention and Tuesday mornings ‘Future of the Industry’ breakfast.”

Dunn, who along with her husband Carl Dunn have spent decades working in the faith-based products industry, said they have heard numerous stories from exhibitors who had some of their best convention sales in years.

According to Expo Logic figures, the total number of attendees at UNITE 2018 was 1707, with a total number of exhibitor booths at 155.

Dunn said no one has been more surprised by the increase in sales than some of the exhibitors. “Most of the exhibitors we’ve talked to were thrilled that their sales and foot traffic at UNITE 2018 was higher than they expected,” said Dunn.

Some exhibitors, like Connie Hurley with Inventory Solutions, say the number of people on the convention floor often came in waves but was consistent for all 3 days. Hurley told CBA News, “Debuting exclusive new lines was a risk, but we’ve been thrilled with the response from retailers.”
