A champion of goodwill and individual achievement will deliver the Worship Him! message at UNITE 2018 when a new vision and forward-looking retailer programs launch to dramatically change the industry.
UNITE 2018 is July 8-11 at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. CBA member retailers will receive up to $1,000 in hotel room, food, and beverage rebates just for attending the convention and seeing powerful new programs to advance the industry and Christian stores.
Ambassador Clyde Rivers, recipient of the U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Award and United Nations ambassador, is director of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International and spokesperson for World Civility Day.
Golden Rule Dialogs
As founder of iChange Nations, Rivers heads many global initiatives that have reached into 120 nations to bring the Golden Rule message to treat others as they would like to be treated. The organization is committed to bring back the lost art of honor by building “cultures of honor” and recognizing individuals throughout the world who have exemplified extraordinary humanitarian efforts to effectively change nations.
The organization is involved in statesmanship training, diplomacy training, and Golden Rule Dialog Chambers—groups working to influence local communities through the Golden Rule and civil and honorable dialog.
Rivers will speak at the Monday, July 9, Worship Him! session and also address a group of attendees involved in international business Sunday, July 8, at UNITE.
CBA President Curtis Riskey said the Rivers’s message is strong, powerful, and highly appropriate for today’s businesses and ministries. “We are privileged to hear directly from him at a time when the Christian-products industry is on the threshold of revival, new mission, and new purpose.”
Registration is open at CBAUnite.com and is free to all retailer buyers. To redeem the unprecedented offer from The Roush Foundation, chaired by Edward Roush, member retailers merely submit their expenses after the event. More details are coming regarding conditions. Reserve rooms directly with the Gaylord.
