DaySpring, Inc., hired of Amelia Nizynski as its new product director for gifts and specialty. Nizynski comes to DaySpring after serving as the product development and marketing manager for Lighthouse Christian Products for the last 11 years. Prior to Lighthouse, she spent 10 years with LifeWay Christian Stores.
The Book Industry Study Group (BISG) has appointed Brian O’Leary to the position of executive director. O’Leary begins his new role Oct. 3.
Parker Hathaway has joined InterVarsity Press as academic and library marketing manager. Hathaway previously served as the audience development specialist for church leaders at Moody Publishers and was their Amazon specialist for a brief time.
Kurt Hettler is the new Ingram Academic Services director of academic service. Previously he served at Oxford University Press.
Peter Antone is now Ingram’s director of marketing, publisher services. He joins Ingram with after more than 17 years in media publishing.
Rachel Bressler is a new director of client relations for Perseus Distribution. She has more than 20 years of experience in the publishing industry and most recently served at Plume (Penguin Random House).
