• Russ Eanes will resign as executive director of MennoMedia and its book imprint Herald Press, effective early 2018. Eanes was named executive director in 2011, when the new organization was formed from a merger of Mennonite Publishing Network and Third Way Media.
  • The W Publishing Group, an imprint of Thomas Nelson, announced that Becky Melvin has been appointed the new director of publicity. Melvin comes from theKennedy Krieger Institute, where she served as the director of public relations, social relations, and social media.
  • InterVarsity Associate Publisher for Academic Dan Reid will retire on Dec. 31, 2017. Jon Boyd, who has worked with Reid as the associate IVP academic editorial director since 2016, will fill that position. Anna Moseley Gissing has joined the team as an academic editor.
  • The Potter’s House Church of Denverhas appointed Touré and Sarah Roberts to its church leadership. Touré is the founding pastor of One Church LA, which was originally established as an outreach to the arts and entertainment communities. Touré replaces previous pastor, Chris Hill, who resigned after an alleged affair.
  • Sherrie Slopianka has joined Harvest House Publishers as VP/publisher, succeeding LaRae Weikert who will retire on Aug. 31. Slopianka most recently worked at Worthy Publishing as executive director of sales.
