Kyungtae Noh, CEO of Urim Books and a board member of the Korean Publishers Association, has been appointed as a special advisor in economy and industry to South Korean presidential candidate Moon Jae-in of the Democratic Party of Korea. The presidential election is scheduled for May 9, 2017.

“I believe I can introduce the trends of the U.S. and international Christian publishing and distribution to the Christian companies in Korea and also reversely introduce events such as [CBA’s] UNITE and MarketSquare to the Korean companies, so that Korean Christian publishers can go increasingly more global,” he says. “We will continue to strive to publish our books in as many languages and countries as possible, and to lead as many souls as possible to salvation.”
