The Seoul International Book Fair 2017 welcomed South Korean First Lady, Kim Jung-sook and guests of honor from Turkey, who presented various cultural events, lectures, and seminars for publishing experts in Korea in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Korea and Turkey’s diplomatic relations. Turkish Ambassador to Korea, Arslan Hakan Okcal, president of Turkish publisher Ma’am Melike Günyüz, Canadian Ambassador Eric Walsh, Italian Ambassador Marco Della Seta, and other dignitaries also attended the opening ceremony of the fair, which runs from June 14-18 in Seoul, Korea. Kyungtae Noh, CEO of Urim Books and board member of the Korean Publishers Association, was also in attendance and introduced the Turkish contingent to First Lady Kim.

This event showcases products like greeting cards, stationary, travel books, maps, globes, business, and financial services for retailers, professionals related to security systems, etc. in the education and training, paper and paper products, and printing and publishing industries.
