CBA provides unparalleled access to the Christian retail marketplace that represents over half of all Christian product sales. From day one, CBA has been an association that has served and led both retailers and suppliers.

Supplier Membership

  1. Must be a business that either directly or indirectly supplies product(s) to at least 10 Christian Retail Establishments* for resale to consumers or employs marketing/sales representatives who, collectively, sell industry related product(s) to at least 10 Christian Retail Establishments*.
  2. Must provide a list of at least 10 current Christian retail accounts before application will be processed.
  3. Must provide CBA with a product catalog or product sample.

Retail Support Membership

  1. Must be a business that provides a product or services to at least 10 Christian Retail Establishments* for use in day-to-day operations. Such as: store fixtures, design services, POS vendors, retail marketing group, store association, etc.
  2. Must provide a list of at least 10 current Christian retail accounts using your products or services before application will be processed.
  3. Must provide a catalog or promotional piece describing the product or service your company provides to retail stores.

Auxiliary Professional or Business Membership

You can apply for an Auxiliary membership as a Prospective Supplier if you want to become a Supplier or Retail Support member but have not yet established the required 10 Christian retail accounts.

*The term Christian retail establishments shall be considered to mean a retail establishment:

  • Having an inventory not less than 75% of which at any given time consists of Bibles, Christian books, Christian music, church supplies and related Christian merchandise,
  • Operating from a location appropriate for the business model, holding all necessary business licenses, and complying with zoning regulations,
  • Advertising to and serving the general public in a manner consistent with retail operations,
  • With the usual and customary overhead of retail business operations,
  • In which business expenses are substantially paid from proceeds acquired through retail operations.)

Any Supplier or Retail Support company that meets the criteria above is eligible for CBA Supplier or Retail Support membership. Our member stores essentially qualify these companies by choosing to carry their products or to use their services in their stores.
