The National Bible Association, the American Bible Society, Bibles For The World, YouVersion, and Bible Gateway are coming together with other organizations to promote the International Day of the Bible, Nov. 23.

Richard Glickstein, president of the National Bible Association, suggests people communicate their appreciation for the Bible via social media at noon on that day in their local time zone.

“Honoring God’s Word and asking Him to bless our nations and bring peace to the world is particularly apt in this period of great turmoil,” he says.

New this year is a 40 Days of the Bible radio outreach by Bibles For The World. Listeners will hear brief stories of the Bible’s power to change lives.
