• Lauren Daigle received two Gold singles off of her 2015 debut album, How Can It Be. Marking the achievement of 500,000 units sold, Daigle’s single “How Can It Be” was given RIAA certification in November 2016; her single “Trust In You” garnered the same recognition in May 2017. This milestone achievement of two Gold singles coming from a debut album is unprecedented for a female CCM artist.
  • Chrystal Evans Hurst’s debut solo book,She’s Still There: Rescuing the Girl in You, sold 50,000 copies in the first month of its release. The book hit the Publishers Weekly August Religion Bestseller’s List at No. 2 and the ECPA Christian Bestseller’s List at No. 4 for September 2017.
  • The RIAA certified for KING & COUNTRY’s current album Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong gold, signifying sales of 500,000 albums. In addition, the group’s “The Proof of Your Love” and “Fix My Eyes” were also certified gold by the RIAA. For KING & COUNTRY is the only artist in Christian music to receive both a gold album and two gold single certifications from the RIAA this year.
  • Christianity Today won two awards showcasing religion journalism excellence at the Religion News Association’s annual awards banquet in Nashville, Tennessee on Sept. 9, Christianity Todaywon first place for Excellence in Magazine Overall Religion Coverage. Jeremy Weber also personally won first place for Excellence in Magazine News Religion Reporting for recent global feature stories reported from Iraq/Greece, Lebanon, and India.
