No Greater Love, the first theatrical documentary filmed and directed by an active-duty soldier, releases Friday, Nov. 10 for Veterans Day weekend. The film documents the battles of the “No Slack” Battalion in Afghanistan and premiers in select cities nationwide.

Distributed by Atlas Distribution Company, No Greater Love has won 11 awards to date, including Best Documentary at the Boston Film Festival and the Louisiana Film Festival. After one round of cuts, No Greater Love is also still a contender for a 2017 Documentary Feature Academy Award.

Film producers hope the film inspires moviegoers to support veterans in their local area.
