WHY IS UNITE 2017 WORTH ATTENDING?
With significant industry changes and dramatic cultural shifts—and no sign of either slowing down—this could be one of the most important years to attend.
CBA’s international convention June 27-30 in Cincinnati, Ohio is the only event that brings together Christian retailers, publishers, suppliers, authors, artists, and distributors from around the world. Together, we will envision the legacy of our businesses and industry through classic events, new features, new and improved training, and connection opportunities.
CLASSIC EVENTS PROVIDE ENCOURAGEMENT
Envision a worldwide gathering and the power of coming together with members of the industry from around the globe to worship, share ideas, and make valuable connections.
Worship Him! Service (June 27)
Worship with a worldwide family of believers. Mary DeMuth, author of more than 30 books who shares hope about God’s ability to re-story a life, will lead us in a meaningful time to focus on our Savior and be reminded of why we’re united.
Global Crossroads Tea (June 28)
This special tea is reserved for those in international business. Network and be encouraged by others working around the world.
NEW FEATURES FACILITATE CONNECTION
Envision growth as attendees learn about new products, receive exclusive pricing, and discover new ideas.
Christian Product Trends “Rep Arounds” (June 28)
This new session allows retailers to be quickly introduced to new products and trends as sponsors give presentations to tables of buyers and experts share briefly about trends. The reps will move to new tables each five minutes and then be available afterward to answer questions and pass out products.
Showcase Suites (June 28-30)
The suites extend the exhibit floor with opportunities to view new products and programs from leading suppliers in a comfortable, informal atmosphere. Going beyond the exhibit floor, many suppliers will present new lines, exclusive convention-only terms, and special events in the suites, often with hosted refreshments.
Big Idea Stage (June 28-30)
Anyone with a big idea can sign up for a 30-minute slot to share a vision, product, or message. Big ideas might include product highlights, innovative strategies, artistic performances—the sky’s the limit! Exhibitors might highlight products. Retailers might share what’s worked in their store. Musicians might play a few songs. Sign up online at CBAUnite2017.org.
Envision the Legacy Banquet (June 29)
This seated dinner will be complete with inspiring awards, a relevant keynote presentation, and thought-provoking entertainment. Terence Chatmon will discuss how his years in executive roles with Fortune 50 companies forged his spiritual leadership, which can help even the smallest companies. Additionally, Christian illusionists and apologists will demonstrate how to recognize deception in Unmasking the Masquerade.
NEW TRAINING SPARKS INNOVATION
Envision your future when you receive critical training that helps overcome common challenges, improve business performance, and enhance your missionary reach.
Retail Academy (June 27)
The new and improved Retail Academy offers one-hour sessions, including inaugural sessions from a new CBA partnership with leading retail-training company The Friedman Group, plus marketing and operations sessions led by industry leaders.
