Christian publishers are turning more attention to kids books in the light of research showing the category to be a growth area. Children’s religion book sales rose almost a quarter from 2013-2016, according to BookScan. Tyndale Kids’ Linda Howard said that with so many negative messages in society, the publisher felt “an increasing responsibility to push back against the noise and provide families with resources that have wholesome, biblical values.”
