By popular request, CBA, the Association for Christian Retail, will host the second CBA MarketSquare Budapest Rights Fair in Hungary 7-8 April at the Radisson Blu Beke Hotel. Registration is open for international publishers, acquisition editors, ministry leaders, exhibitors, and sponsors at www.cbaonline.org/marketsquare-budapest.

MarketSquare Budapest is a unique industry opportunity to interact with Christian publishers and suppliers in an informal setting. The focus is on one-on-one appointment times and networking for relationship building and increased market knowledge. The primary emphasis is foreign-language rights sales but publishing services and other products also are offered.

The inaugural event last year featured representatives of more than 30 Christian publishers and suppliers highlighting product and services related to Christian books and media. A high level of activity resulted in mutual ministry and business benefit for all exhibitors and attendees, one representative said.

Offering expanded geographic reach to Christian companies, the event is conveniently scheduled after Italy’s popular Bologna Children’s Book Fair, 4-7 April, and before the London Book Fair, 12-14 April.

This is an ideal opportunity for publishers, acquisition editors, and ministry executives and leaders to meet with rights and licensing representatives from major Christian publishers.

A snack and beverage buffet is available during the day.

Special room rates are reserved for the Radisson Blu Beke Hotel, Terez Korut, 43 – H-1067, in Budapest’s downtown business district. A short walk from a commuter rail stop and a short drive from the Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, the hotel includes free wireless Internet. Deadline to reserve hotel rooms is 8 Feb.
