Three more missions agencies recently joined the Alliance for the Unreached, which celebrates its second annual International Day for the Unreached on Pentecost Sunday, June 4.

Joining the initiative are Colorado Springs-based DMI, Partners International in Spokane, Washington, and World Mission from Comstock Park, Michigan.

The International Day of the Unreached is intended to call churches and their members to greater involvement in efforts to take the Good News to the more than 2 billion people who have yet to hear about Jesus. As part of this effort, churches are encouraged to focus their sermons and programs for the day on the challenge and opportunity to get more involved in efforts to take the Gospel to unreached people groups, and members are urged to pledge to and share the “Manifesto for the Unreached” and participate in a 30-day prayer focus.
